01 — CHAMPVA
We started by getting our own family seen — then built a network of therapists who actually accept CHAMPVA.
→ It worked. But CHAMPVA wasn't the only coverage nobody could use.
Founded by a military family who couldn't get their own kids seen
The VA said our kids were covered. No one would take the coverage.
We had CHAMPVA coverage through the VA and still couldn't find a therapist who would take it. So we built ValorWell to fix that. Then we found veterans facing the same wall in VA Community Care. When coverage still doesn't produce care, the ValorWell Foundation pays therapists directly.
No one else is fixing this from both sides — inside the VA's own coverage programs, and outside them when the system still fails.
ValorWell runs the care. The Foundation covers the gap. Neither existed before this.
The Model
We didn't set out to build three programs. The first one wasn't enough.
02 — VA Community Care (VACCN)
Hundreds of veterans had "access" to VA-authorized community care and still couldn't get an appointment, on either side of the paperwork.
→ It worked. But some of the system can't be fixed from outside it.
03 — The ValorWell Foundation
When someone is entitled to coverage but genuinely can't reach it, the Foundation pays a qualified therapist directly. 100% of Foundation donations go directly to therapists providing treatment.
→ This is the stopgap — while we work to fix the rest.

The Foundation isn't a fund sitting in an account. It's therapy happening right now.
540+ hours of therapy funded. 100% of donations to the ValorWell Foundation go directly to therapists providing treatment; none of those donations go to ValorWell.
